AFC Urgent Care Statesville

This urgent care is awesome! Everyone you come in contact with are kind, compassionate and want to help you. Also they are prompt but not rushing. Another way to know they care is that they give you a follow-up phone call to make sure you are okay. It was nice to hear that they really cared. I recommend if you need to get a look over or not feeling well. This would be a good place to get that done quickly and well. Also the facility is put together really nice! ☺️

Was traveling away from home for the holidays and started feeling bad. Had a sore throat and ear ache and wanted to make sure I did not have flu or Covid. Once signed in which was easy and efficient , I was shown to an exam room had my vitals taken and provided my med list. Swabs were done and was then quickly seen by the NP. Examined and checked for respiratory issues. Test results came quickly and I was provided instructions by the NP and then discharged seamlessly. Overall a great experience all took just over an hour.

My poor kiddo wasn’t feeling well and once he started running a fever I decided to take him in to get tested for COVID and the Flu. I went online and scheduled the appointment and filled out the paperwork. Got there, checked in, waiting maybe 10 minutes before they took us back. They came in, checked him out and tested him. Poor baby was Flu A positive. I highly recommend this place. Very nice and clean facility and wonderful staff.

The staff from reception to the MA were super friendly, accommodating, and efficient. Shannon was amazing with my stitches and did a great job. She was so friendly and comforting and we had a pleasurable experience in not so pleasurable of a situation. I work at an Urgent Care as a Provider and AFC was my first choice to go to since my facility was closed. Thanks so much for the great care!

Everyone there starting with the woman up front we’re very helpful and caring. The nurse that took me back was such a sweetheart. She tested me for the flu and COVID and it came back positive for the flu. I was so very sick. The doctor I got couldn’t have been more nice and understanding. As I said I was in sad shape. She took very good care of me. Unfortunately I don’t remember her name but she told me if I had any questions later to just call her. She would be there until 7pm and would be back on Thursday. Unfortunately I do have a negative. I did call later and I asked to speak to the doctor I saw earlier and the woman who answered the phone couldn’t tell me the doctor’s name. She said “Lulu or something like that, I'm not sure”. She said she doesn’t work there all the time. I’m sorry that’s no excuse. She transferred me to the nurses phone and I left a detailed message with my name, DOB, and asked if the doctor that I saw earlier could give me a call. I never received a call back. And honestly I don’t think that doctor got my message. Because I felt she would have definitely called me back. Other than that I would definitely go back. They did take very good care of me.

Shannon and Lisa were great! We didn’t have to wait at all. They were so good with my daughter connecting with her and letting her know what was going on. Shannon was very thorough and addressed all of our concerns. She gave us a treatment plan and got everything taken care of. We will definitely choose them again if we ever have a need.
